The Brunel School of Engineering and Design is one of the largest and most successful Engineering and Design Schools in the UK. The School is research intensive and has an international reputation for fundamental and applied research in many areas such as computer engineering; mechanical and aerospace engineering; design; advanced manufacturing engineering and civil and built environment engineering. In particular, the Centre for Energy and Built Environment Research (CEBER) focuses on the fundamental and applied areas in the energy and environment field which include: design of specific processes in heating/cooling/refrigeration, investigation in energy consumption, single and 2-phase heat transfer.
